Thanks to Johnson-easy, my companion, assistant, and sherpa on the trip. Thanks to David Cardinal for organizing and executing this small boutique photo tour of Southeast Asia with its comprehensive connections to local people. The tour also included Cambodia and Angkor Wat; material from that also-fantastic country will be a blog series for another day.

Thanks to the great local people who were our guides. Thanks most of all to the Burmese people. I found them to be genuinely warm and I appreciated their generosity in allowing me to photograph them and their children.
